Well, Hello 2020, and a Big Hello to you,
I hope the new year is treating you well. I can not complain and I think 2020 is gonna be Fantastic. I just got done with an amazing solo trip to Miami and had a fantastic. time! This post I will share my photos, (videos to come on Youtube soon) links, etc. to all I did and how I hit the “reset” button here at the Edition by Marriott Miami. Luxury to say the least. If you want to visit this location or anywhere else contact my friend Lyndsey HERE and she can help you out. (BTW – not an Ad this is just great contact I want to share).
Let’s talk about the view….. it is located right on the beach in the heart of everything but not too much so if that makes sense. The lobby is all white (my favorite) gold accents white candles lanterns and fresh greenery everywhere. It beckons back to the 1940s 1950’s old Miami glamor. These are original columns.
They have two pools this one is just below my balcony in a bungalow suite next to Tropicale Bar / Restaurant and quick access to the spa.
My view from the Bungalow Room 452 yes it is That Good!
The Beach setups are classic Miami and the staff is very attentive – just get their early. This is at 8 am. I lucked out and received a free umbrella & chair during my stay being a Marriott Bonvoy member.
My favorite dining options were “THE MARKET – casual fresh ( I got my cold-pressed juices here) breakfast lunch dinner.
The beautiful open chef’s kitchen early in the morning sitting at the cold brew coffee/cocktail bar
A warm winter salad – I think I had this almost every day and they shared the dressing recipe too – just ask and you shall receive!
COLD BREW ANYONE?
This bread was EVERYTHING………. #carbsaregood
Then there is the Matador Jean-George’s fine dining. Lovely atmosphere, food, and service to did for. They even made my mocktail in a fancy glass! Cheers to your health. You can look online for all updated menus. If you’re the type – I suggest the foie gras from Matador and the warm salad from the market, cold-pressed ginger shots and the organic muffins from the spa.
The bathtub in my room was just simply spectacular and gave me ideas and notes for creating my own oasis at the Farm House – they even provided scented bath salts. I didn’t want to leave and the robe…..just heaven.
Bring the Hotel and Spa Home:
Make your home smell like a hotel or spa. Many sell their signature scents and Editon is no exception. They spray it all over and pipe it in. It’s soft clean and not overwhelming. Here is the link for the candle but check out the whole site famous hotel candles and diffusers etc. from all over. EDITION BLACK VELVET SCENT

The Spa here at the Miami Edition is what I dream of… I did the oxygen treatment, pedicure, and steam – plus fell in love with the black tea coconut muffins located in the spa lounge.
A Nice stretch – call the concierge to get a Yoga Mat and play Yoga For Bad People on Marriott TV.
They even have a mini ice rink and bowling alley – did a little ice skating bowling alley was booked. Too much fun…..
Room Service one of my favorite things about hotels and The Market was my first call. Make sure to get dessert too!
Yes, I did eat all of it!
Lyndsey & her travel group link here! we so sweet to send up a bottle of bubbles but I declined being a healthy reset trip and the manager didn’t blink an eye and sent up this. How sweet and look at the elegant presentation. Marriott does it RIGHT!
Now lets stroll down collins ave. towards Lincoln Rd and some open-air shopping. First I came up to this really cute restaurant and hotel. Too early for sweets but on the list!
Then I officially enter South Beach
More food – keep walking Lori… keep walking.
Now we head to Bal Harbor Shops……. yes darling, yes! More info on video later but I finally bought the iconic La Mer Powder Brush ( baby I don’t know what took me so long) and well as the concentrate and compact translucent powder. I couldn’t be happier. They have both Saks and Neimans there but Neimas was closed. The Saks there for those who want to know have alllllll the salons inside. Dior, Louis, Chanel, Gucci was in love. That is where I bought my La Mer and with my purchase got huge sample sizes of their premier products. I am hooked now folks “THE BROTH” if you know… you know. If not you NEED to find out!
Stay tuned I will be hosting a La Mer Cosmetics event at the Saks Fifth Ave. by me in early Spring 2020. Details and VIP invites will go out soon. DM me if you are interested.
I went into Fendi and fell in love with these boots ( Fendi Design Dist too) and the peekaboo bag. Ugggggg
I also recommend the Big Bus Tour – I did that on my last day – you pick it up all over Miami my stop was just a block away and too much fun – Wynwood Graffiti was cool – little Havana, shopping great way to get your bearings and only $50 pp or an all-day hop on hop off pass. Ck my insta stories highlight reel Travel for more. Here is a wall – I think one of the first and oldest that started off the whole trend!
Ride on Top with Big Bus Tours…….
Oh yeah, you gotta stop at Dreamers Cafe some darn good insta shots!
Also went by the Miami Design District – Fendi, Gucci, LV, DIOR……. Came home empty-handed but they do ship folks!
One of the most lovely watches I have seen…. only a small $72k Its good trying on and admiring the quality and art of the piece.
You take the elevator up to the 3rd floor and its where everyone goes for Insta shots – the juice was yummy too – had to pull out my Dior card case – right and show some love!
Fendi – my love………
Working on some edits of video taking a bit longer but hope to be up soon. If you want to travel like this and enjoy LMK. I have some great contacts or if you just want to share how and if you travel alone I’d love to get something else planned for late Spring!
Cheers, All and thank you Miami, Marriot, and Lyndsey for the hook up for all the love and support! xoxo

Looks amazing! Will definitely have to make a trip down to recharge!!
Thanks Amy……. Hugs,
